| Title Intermediate Accountant Job ID 1136 Position Overview Our downtown Winnipeg client is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their team. If you enjoy a steady pace and working with people who are tenured this could be a good opportunity to gain solid accounting skills while reporting to a CA. Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Controller, your responsibilities will include preparing month-end and year-end journal entries, financial statement preparation and analysis for multiple reporting entities, reconciling balance sheet accounts and multiple bank accounts. Communicating with branches to resolve issues and making adjusting journal entries, you will prepare reports related to each entity. Requirements The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of accounting experience with post secondary accounting education. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required in addition to proficiency in Excel. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess exceptional communication skills.
