| IT Customer Service Representative There is a job opening for an IT Customer Service Representative at our GoldCare division's Waterloo office. Job Responsibilities Respond to GoldCare customer requests for technical assistance by phone and electronically Diagnose and resolve application issues remotely Research questions using available information resources Gain knowledge of GoldCare applications Advise GoldCare users on appropriate actions Follow standard service centre procedures Log all service centre interactions with customers Evaluate problems and redirect to appropriate internal resource as necessary Record service requests and document resolutions Stay current with system information, changes and updates. Candidate Requirements Strong analytical skills for problem solving and troubleshooting software Strong communication skills Good knowledge of relational databases; ideally, UniVerse Working knowledge of current Microsoft workstation and networking applications Experience working at a software help desk as a service representative in the health or financial sectors.
