| IP Network Specialist LOCATION : Burlington (1 Full Time Position) SUMMARY In accordance with established policies, procedures, guidelines and tools the incumbent is responsible for effectively supporting all aspects of Cogeco ?s layer 3 network including DOCSIS capacity initiatives, Engineering work order completion, and overall advanced Network troubleshooting and support assistance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support Engineering on the implementation of network changes, including network extensions, execution of IOS testing, IOS upgrades, etc. following the test plans and design developed by Network Engineering Effectively manages work order process including developing, issuing, tracking and completing work orders related to repetitive tasks and those requested by the Network Engineering team Works closely with the Technical Operations for HFC and operational requirements. Interfaces with internal departments such as Customer Care and IP Engineering to ensure seamless network operations and customer connectivity. Keeps track of network technology, hardware and software revisions changes making sure that operational processes are updated and changes are communicated to the technical o.... |
