| INSTRUCTOR THERAPIST COMPETITION NO: 11-705 STATUS : Temporary Full Time (For Approx. 4 Months) DEPARTMENT : Behaviour Management REPORTS TO : Manager, Behaviour Management HOURS : Days, 7.5 Hour Shifts JOB SUMMARY: As an Instructor Therapist in intensive early behavioural intervention services for children with autism, you will be working with young children either one-on-one or in a group setting. You will be responsible for delivering direct service, preparing teaching materials, monitoring the children ?s progress, participating in treatment planning and liaising with parents. QUALIFICATIONS: One or two years ? early intensive behavioural intervention experience would be an asset. Candidate must have a valid Ontario Drivers License, a vehicle and be willing to travel throughout York Region, Central East Region and Simcoe County. Candidates must be willing to participate in and successfully complete a comprehensive training program. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with York Central Hospital ?s Code of Conduct.
