This position will appeal to individuals with an interest in contributing to our Quality Control/Quality Assurance IMS programs for operating, inspecting, and maintaining pressure containing equipment in our growing deregulated organization. Under the direction of the Chief Inspector, you will be involved in the ABSA mandated activities, maintaining and continued development of the IMS program. Auditing of external vendor and shop audits, in-house welder certification program, non destructive examination and testing of repairs and alterations to pressure systems including coal fired boilers and gas fired heat recovery steam generators (HRSG'S) along with their auxiliaries, pressurized steam, water, condensate, fuel, and compressed air distribution systems as well as assisting in the implementation of TransAlta's Quali.... |
