Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources and Career Planning, the incumbent is
responsible for providing a range of administrative support services on Human Resources
matters for the Headquarters and six Regional Education Offices. These services include
maintaining the Education HR database, filing, maintaining leave and attendance records,
updating Casual Staffing Actions, and casual time sheets. The incumbent will also be
required to regularly update staff on HR matters and assist the HR Manager to ensure that
staff pay and benefits are accurate. This requires the incumbent to maintain
confidentiality regarding the substance and structure of the work undertaken.
The ideal candidate will possess post secondary education and ideally additional post
secondary education in the field of Social Services Public Administration with a Human
Resources concentration or have equivalent practical experience. Proven administrative
skills gained through progressively responsible experience in an office setting are required.
