| Human Resources Manager 80-105K base The Human Resources Manager is responsible to direct and coordinate Human Resources activities for Plant and Service Operations in Canada, with primary emphasis on Eastern Canadian. This “HR Business Partner” Position will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, and have a strong dotted line into the Vice Presidents of Facilities and Operations in Canada. Human Resource activities include but are not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training and employee relations. Keys areas of responsibility include: Strategic HR Partner to business unit leader(s) Facilitate/ lead workforce planning (staffing, succession planning, talent development) Initiate/ lead programs to improve employee retention/ reduce turnover Initiate/ lead programs to understand and improve employee engagement Facilitate annual performance management and compensation review processes Facilitate annual leadership and talent development programs and processes Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations; Manage in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-d.... |
