| Title: Housekeeping Aide Job Type: Casual Hours, All Shifts Location: Meadowlands, Medicine Hat, AB Apply By: February 17, 2012 Responsibilities Cleans areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate cleaning and sanitation methods and procedures. Such cleaning will include, but not be limited to, furniture, washroom fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents and windows. Operates floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment and strips, scrubs, spray buffs and refinishes all carpet and non-carpet floor surfaces. Vacuums carpet areas, removing spots and stains from carpets and upholstery. Washes and disinfects long stay and discharge beds. Removes and hang drapes and privacy curtains. Moves all furnishings and personal belongings of residents. Picks up garbage and incontinent pads and transports to designated areas. Adheres to established facility policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices. Prepare documentation as required according to facility policy. Ensures resident satisfaction and continuous quality improvement initiatives are promoted. Qualifications Must be a team player with genuine empathy for seniors. Must have the ability to foll.... |
