| Title Host/Hostess Department F&B- Big Four City Calgary Description Department: Food and Beverage Pay: $11.42 ? $13.41 Hours: 0 to 44 hours per week; no guarantee of hours. Typical duties: ? Plan table seating diagrams and manage reservation lists. ? Greet guests as they arrive and take them to their seats. ? Provide a menu and explain specials and answer questions. ? Direct and inform service staff of any specific needs and ensure they receive quality service from the moment they arrive. This may include services required for small children, as well as disabilities or food allergies. ? Effectively handle and resolve concerns or needs as they arrive during service. ? Assist servers, bus persons, food runners and other staff whenever possible throughout shift including; clearing and cleaning tables, assisting with event set-ups and clean-ups. Qualifications: ? Previous point of sale, cash handling and restaurant experience is an asset but not required. ? A minimum of one year in retail or a related customer service environment is preferred. ? Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Must be over 16 years of age and available evenings after 4:30 p.m. ? Semi-form.... |
