| Job Title: Home Support Worker Job ID: 9180 Location: Tsiigehtchic Department BDHSSA Enhance Home Care Return to Previous Page Job Opening Information Home Support Worker, (Part-time) Beaufort-Delta Health and Social Services Authority Tsiigehtchic, NT Limited to candidates residing within a 25km radius of Tsiigehtchic Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, the Home Support Worker is an integral member of the Tsiigehtchic community health care team. The Home Support Worker assists with the activities and tasks of daily living and certain individual care for clients enrolled in the Home Care Program. The Home Support Worker also initiates and participates in social programming for clients enrolled in the program to assists them to meet those needs. This position operates with the philosophy of assisting clients to maintain the highest level of health and independence as is safely possible while remaining in their own homes. The Home Support Worker will be an advocate for home care clients working with other team members to optimize their health and well-being. The Home Support Worker will be required to do shift work.
