| Position Heavy Equipment Technician Job ID# 1170 Reporting To Service Supervisor Key Accountabilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment Repair and service Caterpillar and all heavy equipment within the established time standards Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner Maintain excellent customer relations Undertake assignments as required in support of client needs Participate in workplace safety, environmentally sound and healthy behaviours and objectives at all times in support if Toromont ?s Health and Safety Policy/ Programs and best practices Key Qualifications Must possess a valid Heavy Equipment Technician License and 5 years experience as a practicing Technician Must possess basic knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication Must be able to read and understand schematics, drawings and technical bulletins Customer centric with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Solid business acumen with high attention to detail and ability to maintain long term customer relationships Self motivated and able to manage often changing and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven enviro.... |
