| Health Physicist Radiation Protection Services Medical Physics Division Term Part-time (.5 EFT) March 2012 - April 2013 (MAT LOA) Competition #: 34-12-713505516 A unique opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to contribute to the expanding work of the Radiation Protection Department of the Medical Physics Division at CancerCare Manitoba. Our experienced team is committed to providing a comprehensive radiation protection service and possesses the mandate of a regulatory role in the Province. We deliver a wide range of radiation protection services encompassing ionizing and non-ionizing areas including radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology, radionuclide, industry, and research and development activities. We also provide teaching and training programs. You will have scope to broaden your experience in these areas, contributing to all CCMB's radiation safety compliance programs. Qualifications: Applicants must have practical experience in the field of radiation protection and possess an appropriate higher degree. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a requirement. Ability to travel.... |
