Health Ethics - Assistant Professor Memorial University of Newfoundland Location: Newfoundland and Labrador Date posted: 2012-02-07 Division of Community Health and Humanities Faculty of Medicine The Division of Community Health and Humanities, Memorial University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Health Ethics. The appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level although initial rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointment is for a tenure-track position subject to budgetary approval. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include teaching and related activities in the ethics undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programs in the Faculty of Medicine; establishing an independent, externally-funded program of research; and participation in service activities. The successful candidate will join a team of ethicists, to participate in clinical ethics activities through a contractual arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the newly established Provincial Health Ethics Network of Newfoundland and Labrador (PHENNL).
