| JOB TITLE: Head, Media Production DEPARTMENT: Media Access and Production (eMAP) STATUS: 1.0 FTE; Permanent COMPETITION NO.: 12036-M SALARY INFORMATION: The salary range is $72,313 to $120,446 per annum (Managerial, Phase 3). The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience. PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Head, Media Production provides the vision, leadership, management, and strategic planning for the Media Production unit of Media Access and Production (eMAP). The Head leads and manages the priorities, goals, and resources of the Production team, which consists of highly skilled professionals, to ensure that the activities of this cost-recovery unit align with the academic, research and administrative needs of the university. NATURE OF WORK: Reporting to the Director, Media Access and Production (eMAP), the Head of Media Production participates as a member of the leadership team and works in a highly team-based environment. The incumbent manages media producers, audio producers, editors, graphic designers, and technicians to ensure all projects are completed to the satisfaction of the client and to a high standard of quality.
