| HVAC Engineer (6 Month Term) Posted Date: 25-01-2012 Location: Chalk River, Ontario, Canada Description: Duties The HVAC Engineer will contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs in HVAC and building services. This position will require the preparation of design documents, design requirements, design descriptions, technical specifications, tendering documents, standards, procedures and analyses reports for HVAC, building services and mechanical systems for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities in support of the CRL site. Qualifications Bachelor (Honours) degree in engineering or applied science from a university of recognized standing and Member of a provincial professional engineering association or registered in PEO Engineer Internship Training Program. Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering and significant related experience in the areas of in the areas of building design services and HVAC. Sound knowledge of the ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems in nuclear and non-nuclear facilities Supervisory and project management experience.
