| Job Title: Geomatic Technologists Job ID: 17638 Location: Edmonton,AB Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Return to Previous Page Primary Focus The focus of this position is to publish location-based pipeline asset data to decision-makers within Enbridge. Currently, data is typically published as hardcopy and digital maps and drawings (e.g., alignment sheets). In the future, this position will be responsible for designing and publishing web maps for desktop and mobile devices. Working with the geodatabase administrator, this position also fills the role of custodian for location-based outside the fence liquids pipeline asset data. In the future, this scope could be extended to include location-based inside the fence facilities asset data. Responsibilities Design and publish new cartographic maps to satisfy end-user information requirements Maintain currency of existing asset maps and pipeline alignment sheets Configure and publish alignment sheets for new pipelines according to current content and format standards Evaluate and implement more efficient alignment sheet production tools Design and configure informative and usable web mapping sites for internal end-use.... |
