| Geologist Job ID: KR20122001-78648 Description: Company: Spectra Energy Transmission West Department: Gas Supply Closing Date: February 20, 2012 Responsibilities/Job Description: As an experienced Geologist or Engineer you will undertake a range of activities from regional assessments to prospect evaluations, with a focus on developing gas supply estimates. Experience in the full E&P life cycle will put you in a good position to succeed in this role. Typical Responsibilities are: Analyze technical advances in exploration and development that affect gas reserves in Western Canada. Integrate geological and engineering data for reservoir characterization. Assist with forecasting gas production and reserves and identify geological, technical and economic risks. Maintain a reserves database system and generate reserve reports as required. Work with Strategic Development, Marketing and Business Development on the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities. Interpret geological maps and basic well logs. Minimum Qualifications: BSc Geology or BSc Engineering Membership in APEGGA Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Desired Qualifications: Strong understanding of hydrocarbon res.... |
