The department seeks a candidate to help build on the programs in Geography and Environmental Science by providing expertise in Geographic Information Science, particularly spatial analysis and modeling. Candidates should also demonstrate an interest in advancing the department's wider commitment to social and environmental science, and be able to contribute to novel applications of spatial methodology in a multi-disciplinary context. The candidate will have an opportunity to take a leadership role in developing innovative applications in any of the areas of departmental specialization, including the expanding enrolments in the GIS Minor within the BSc. program.
