| Title: General Sales Manager Agriculture Location: Winnipeg, MB Function: General Sales Manager Agriculture Responsibilities: Manage the activities of an agricultural sales staff and ensures target revenues are met or exceeded. Ensure the sales staff has the needed training, qualifications and work environment to allow it to succeed. Assigns sales territories, oversee customer service and perform administrative duties. Includes recruiting staff, creating and leading a cohesive team, guiding the team to meet sales targets, identifying staff coaching needs, reviewing staff performance and completing reporting information and administrative duties. Mentoring sales staff is an important function of this position. Previous experience and leadership skills will motivate and coach his or her staff. Represents Company at certain events and trade meetings to enhance management’s vision and to support direct sales staff Qualifications: University degree (Agricultural preferred) and minimum of 5 years of Agricultural Sales experience, which reflects increasing responsibilities.
