| Position Title: GIFT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Classification: FULL TIME Hours of Work: VARIABLE Job Competition #: FND12-001 Qualifications University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, fundraising or business administration. CFRE designation and/or healthcare philanthropy experience an asset. Experience, Skill, and Ability Minimum 3-5 years fundraising, donor relations experience. Demonstrated success in grant proposal writing. Ability to meet fundraising goals and effectively interact with donor prospects. Excellent written, oral, communication & presentation skills. Strong knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or similar Fundraising software. Ability to work as a team player. Principal Duties The Gift Development Officer plays a major role in ensuring the success of the Foundation’s Major Gifts effort. The officer will be responsible for advancing the mission of Bluewater Health Foundation by developing and fostering strong relationships and generating philanthropic support from individuals, corporations and foundations.
