| GERIATRIC NURSE CLINICIAN REPORTING LOCATION: CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR SENIORS' HEALTH PERMANENT POSITION 70 HOURS BI-WEEKLY START DATE TO FOLLOW SELECTION PROCESS A Criminal Records Check is required in advance of starting employment in this position. Please contact Police Services at 705-675-9171 Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm for information on how to obtain a Criminal Records Check. The Regional Geriatric Services Section, Community Development Department of the City of Greater Sudbury, requires a Geriatric Nurse Clinician. The successful candidate must possess the qualifications and perform the duties, as set out below. The current range of pay for this position is $2,765.70 to $3,255.00 bi-weekly. QUALIFICATIONS : EDUCATION AND TRAINING: - Bachelors of Nursing Degree from a University with Canadian accreditation including a specialty in Geriatric Nursing. - Current Certificate of Competence as issued by the College of Nurses in Ontario. EXPERIENCE: - Minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of Geriatric Medicine/Gerontology. KNOWLEDGE OF: - Demonstrate in depth knowledge of disease process and symptom management, theory, research, clinical decision-mak.... |
