| Forklift Operator Location: BC - Kamloops Company Order Number: 12-021 # of openings: 1 Description FORKLIFT OPERATOR Kamloops, BC RESPONSIBILITIES: The forklift operator will be responsible for the safe operation of an 18,000 lb capacity forklift while performing the duties of loading and unloading trucks and rail cars. The forklift operator will also be responsible for handling paperwork associated with shipping activities, co-ordinating with shippers and interfacing with railroad and trucking personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: A proven track record of safety in the workplace Experience with forklift operation in an industrial shipping environment Certified forklift operator Experience in the lumber industry would be a definite asset Strong organizational skills The ability to work with minimal supervision Strong work ethic and good people and communication skills are a must An occupational first aid ticket would be an asset Tolko Industries Ltd. is a forest products company with marketing, resource management and manufacturing operations throughout Western Canada.
