POSITION Food Service Aide
Temporary Full Time 1.0 FTE – Effective until July 31,

HOURS OF WORK Various

80 Tenth Street, Nanaimo, BC
WAGE $14.62 - $15.56 per hour
DUTIES
You will be responsible for the safe handling, preparing and serving of food to residents.
Cleaning the kitchen and dietary areas, dishwashing, receiving, and other general duties as
required.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must be experienced and competent in institutional dietary duties, including food
preparation and service. You are a strong communicator able to communicate effectively in
both written and verbal English. You are able to maintain good interpersonal relationships and
have a genuine interest in working with the aged and chronically ill. Food safe certificate
required.
