| Location: Whitehorse, YT Hours: Full-time Salary: Depends on experience Duration: Permanent Job Description/Duties: Food and Beverage servers work in our restaurants, bars and extremely busy banquets and catering operations. A food & beverage server serves meals to patrons and may also be involved in both set up and clean up of facilities. Hours and days of work are variable and food and beverage servers must be able to work a variety of shifts either at the Best Western Gold Rush Inn or High Country Inn. This position requires excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure. Requirements/Qualifications: Greet patrons and familiarize them with the food and beverage menu May be required to present customer with food and beverage options, take orders, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding the food and beverage. Act as the point of contact between the patron and and kitchen staff Make recommendations on wine and beverage selection with meals Serve food and beverages May require preparation of specialty food and beverage items at the table of the patrons May have to present bill and payment transaction of the patron Typically reports to a supervisor FOODSAF.... |
