| Fit and Spec technician Location: Head Office (Montreal, Quebec) Store Location: Job Code: 621 # of openings: 1 Description We are currently looking for a: Fit and Spec Technician Reporting to the Pre-Production Manager, your role will consist of processing the production samples, validating measurements, construction and workmanship of the garments and maintaining quality control standards. Primary Responsibilities: · Working closely with designers and product managers to ensure proper interpretation of styling details and fit standards · Participating in fit sessions with live models · Making required corrections to patterns · Developing production size specifications on tech packs · Communicating modifications to the overseas suppliers Qualifications and competencies: · Diploma in a fashion related field (asset) · 5 or more years’ experience in patternmaking/grading · Excellent knowledge of garment construction and fit · Proficient in MS Word and Excel · Strong organizational skills · Detail-oriented · Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment · Bilingual: English and Fren.... |
