| Financial Analyst Posted Date: 08-02-2012 Location: Chalk River, Ontario, Canada Description: Duties As the successful candidate, you will provide financial planning, business analysis, and decision support, to business areas within the Nuclear Laboratories. You will coordinate and assist in the development of plans, budgets, forecasts, and proposals, as well as assisting in the completion and or review of project estimates, contracts, service agreements and purchase commitments, for accuracy and compliance with policy. This will include identifying and evaluating financial risks and recommending options or alternatives. You will also analyze and interpret monthly financial information, assist in the development of financial performance measurement tools. Education and Experience A University degree in Commerce or Business Administration is required. The successful applicant will have relevant experience in a financial support role. Ideally, the successful applicant will also possess or be working toward a professional accounting designation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Sound knowledge of GAAP, Financial Administration Act and Corporate statutory reporting requirement.... |
