| Facility Rental Assistant SALARY RANGE: $23.72 to $29.64 (Pay Band 3) NOTE: Applicants will be considered for interviews based on the information provided in their application to the Region of Halton including a current resume and cover letter. THIS POSITION IS BEING OFFERED ON A CONTRACT BASIS WORKING 35 HOURS PER WEEK, FROM DATE OF HIRE FOR A PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS PURPOSE OF This position is responsible for front-line public relations for the Museum s facility rental program while organizing and managing a number of behind-the-scenes functions including working with caterers, suppliers, and coordinating various aspects of room and facilities set-up and food and beverage service for the venues facility rental and special event programs. PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Solid hospitality, banquet and customer service work experience required Familiarity/work experience within the hospitality industry, museums, attractions, meeting or hotel facilities A university, college or related degree in hospitality and food service an asset Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills essential.... |
