| Job Title: Facility Operations Support, Olympic Oval, Faculty of Kinesiology Job ID: 1628 Location: Main Campus Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Return to Previous Page Position Overview The Olympic Oval in the Faculty of Kinesiology is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Facility Operations Support . This position reports to the Ice Maintenance Supervisor, and make decisions on day-today operating procedures for three ice surfaces, events set up & strike, artificual ice plant, and all related equipment in the Olympic Oval. Position Description Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to): Ensure that ice surfaces are maintained in world-class condition, paying particular attention to quality and thickness, as outlined in standards Safe and proper use of all equipment and tools, including ice resurfacers, forklifts, and edgers Implement an effective feedback system to continuously monitor the ice conditions for different user groups Upkeep of daily logs and preventative maintenance of an ice plant and other related equipment Communicate necessary requirements with the Operations team and other Oval staff to maintain the high q.... |
