The Ministry of Agriculture’s Business Risk Management Branch (BRMB) is headquartered in Kelowna with seven field offices located throughout the province. Its’ mission is to provide quality, innovative agricultural risk management products and services that help farmers and farm organizations proactively manage uncertainty through the delivery of production insurance, income stabilization and wildlife damage compensation programs. The Branch aims to help provide financial stability by offering risk management products to farmers and thereby reduce the need for ad hoc government assistance. With demonstrated accuracy in working with numbers and in interpreting financial statements you are a member of a dynamic team responsible for the assessment and verification of individual farmer’s financial data to determine benefits provided under the AgriStability program that compensate BC farmers for drops in their farm income.
