| Description: Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to the following: - Work with the A&D and Development teams to identify potential acquisition or disposition opportunities within your assigned Districts; - Use knowledge gained from working with the teams to identify longer term strategic opportunities for Penn West and work towards execution on those opportunities within the A&D group; - Review competitor disposition packages to determine our level of interest in the packages and assist the A&D Evaluations group in their evaluation of the package; - Undertake technical review of underperforming properties to assess whether or not they are divestment candidates; - Evaluate properties for acquisition/disposition; - Review of competitors financial and operating results; - Lead the data gathering process on dispositions within your areas. Required Experience & Skill Set: - Bachelor of Engineering Degree plus 5 years experience in a related field; - Exploitation or operations experience is preferred; - Strong understanding of oil and gas economics is required; - Strong team player; - Strong communication skills; - Independent worker and self starter.... |
