| Description: Candidates must have a B.Sc. in Engineering with minimum of five years of experience in thermal operations. Strong knowledge of thermal reservoir depletion and development strategies is required. Experience in economic evaluations and exposure to field operations would be an asset. Candidates must be proficient in the use of spreadsheet applications and word processing. Excellent communication, organizational and team leadership skills, complemented with a strong work ethic are also required. We currently have opportunities on both our CSS and SAGD exploitation teams. Successful candidates will work in a multi-discipline team to develop Canadian Natural’s Oil Sands Leases which is targeting 300,000 bbl/d thermal production by 2020. Reporting to the Manager CSS Exploitation or the Manger SAGD Exploitation, the Exploitation Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Working within a team environment to create development plans and strategies for a specific in-situ project; - Creating development scenarios and reviewing the economic impacts to maximize the NPV of the project; - Monitoring production analogs to assess the impact of past operatin.... |
