| Reporting to the Exploitation Manager of theHeavy Oil South team, the Exploitation Engineers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Monitor and optimize the depletion strategies of the Companys new and existing pools; Evaluate potential acquisitions and present recommended acquisition value to management; Provide engineering support and work with the area exploration team to develop existing and future company assets; Provide recommendations on the completions and re-completion of new and existing wells, as well as liaise with the production team to recommend production facilities; Calculate, maintain and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the corporate reserves; and Conduct reservoir studies and analysis on new and emerging exploration prospects. An engineering degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of oil & gas experience in exploitation (reservoir) engineering coupled with being comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary asset area team is required.Our Exploitation teams are involved with the production of gas or oil pools under primary, secondary (waterflood) and EOR (polymer) recovery methods within their geographic area of responsibility.
