| Exploitation Engineer, Western Canada Unconventional Competition #30417 Calgary Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, Western Canada Unconventional this position is responsible for formulating and executing reservoir development strategies and providing reservoir engineering support to maximize economic recovery in the Provost/Bodo area. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Work in a multi-disciplinary team to identify, evaluate, prioritize, plan and execute exploitation, workover, and acquisition opportunities and low risk exploration. Monitor and evaluate reservoir performance to optimize production and recovery (e.g. well testing, decline analysis, reservoir simulation) from existing polymer and waterfloods as well as cold heavy oil production. Formulate growth opportunities via new depletion techniques (EOR) and acquisition opportunities. Develop production, recoverable reserve and economic forecasts for internal budgets, acquisitions and development opportunities. Ensure corporate compliance with regulatory bodies in areas relating to drilling, reservoir depletion, and recovery schemes. Represent Pengrowth interests in relevant joint venture interests.
