| Executive Assistant - Secret clearance - Bilingual Ottawa-Gatineau Government Staffing Office Administration Administrative/Executive Assistant ID 24155 Description Rate: $10.30 for 20 weeks BACKGROUND Public Safety Canada has a requirement for a temporary Intermediate Executive Assistant to help within the office of the Director General Communications. DUTIES Provide administrative support (e.g., make copies, circulate documents, coordinate logistics of teleconferences and meetings, ensure follow-ups, process correspondence); Coordinate and administer information within the office of executives (e.g. filing); Coordinate and monitor/track dockets sent to the DGs office for approval; Enter and monitor tasks in CCM Mercury; Format documents according to Departmental standards; Prepare travel requests and subsequent expense claims (shared task); Answer telephones (monitoring up to 5 lines at once) and ensure messages are delivered in a timely manner (shared task); Carry out various other administrative tasks as requested (shared task) WORKING ENVIRONMENT The Office of the Director General (Communications), Public Safety Canada, is a fast paced working environment.
