| Job Summary We construct amazing things from the ground up - huge, multidisciplinary projects, all over the continent - and we're looking for some equally amazing people to join in and lend a hand. We are seeking an experienced Estimator - Electrical for our Edmonton office. The Estimator, under moderate guidance will prepare and/or assist in completing estimates for both conceptual and defined scopes of work. This individual will use their knowledge to focus work and drive short and long term solutions. Responsibilities Review documents and drawings received from the Cost Engineering Coordinator and request information where needed Produce quantity take-offs for the electrical discipline as directed by the Senior Estimator/Chief Estimator while ensuring the take-off is well notated for hand-over to the project team and includes safety and security requirements required by Ledcor policies and applicable legislation Accurately calculate the cost of execution for the electrical scope of work Contribute to the formulation of execution plans, risk evaluation in performance of the work, and provision of a detailed basis of estimate Assists the Senior Estimator/Chief Estimator in develop.... |
