| One of the fastest growing ICI general contractors in Canada is looking to add an Estimating Manager to their team. They are looking for someone with 5 to 10 years experience in both estimating and project management. The ideal candidate will be someone that has the ability to think outside the box and take an entrepreneurial approach to the business. You must also be the type with strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities: Within this role you will be responsible for but not limited to the following: - Review and analyze new tenders and assign them to staff. - Develop estimating strategies in conjunction with VP Estimating and Operations staff. - Manage estimating administration (soliciting prices from sub trades, web site tender postings etc.) - Build and maintain positive relations with suppliers and sub trades, working closely with Operations staff to ensure trade database is current. - Manage estimating tender log, electronic and hard files - Liaise directly and/or manage communication with .... |
