Job Purpose:
Summary of Duties
and Responsibilities:
Project Technicians/Scientists will be responsible for organizing and conducting field
work, compiling information and writing detailed reports, and liaison between
operators, land owners and subcontractors. These duties may require travel away
from the service centre over prolonged periods of time.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Travel on short notice, estimated 50% field duties with multiple overnight requirements.
• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESA’s, Phase III Excavations, Detailed
Site Assessments (DSA), Spill Assessments, Sampling and Field Testing, including soils identification.
• Organize subcontractors, notify landowners, and conduct field work.
• Provide clear and accurate field data, notes and cost information.
