POSITION: WATERWISE ATTENDANT
(ENVIRONMENTAL OUTREACH ASSISTANT)
(Up to 4 positions)
SALARY: $21.25 per hour
HOURS OF WORK: As required (up to approximately 80 hours bi-weekly)
(Shifts include days, evenings and weekends)
STATUS: Auxiliary (term positions up to approximately 20 weeks)
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the CRD’s Demand Management Coordinator (Residential Programs), the
Environmental Outreach Assistant is responsible for assisting with Environmental Partnerships’
outreach programs including marketing campaigns, neighborhood patrols, maintenance of native plant
gardens, administration of the Water Conservation Bylaw and responding to public inquiries. These
individuals will also prepare documentation to property owners regarding the Water Conservation
Bylaw. The position requires working a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
