| Job Title: Engineering Technician Work Location: Oklahoma City State/Province: Oklahoma Country: USA Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the person in this position will be to set-up OBO (Operated by Others) wells , jobs, and data quality control of these reports in the field reporting software WellView. Until WellView is ready to accept these reports this person will have to maintain the data in the current system(s); Excel and Word. To do this the person will have to seek out appropriate data sources either in the OBO field, OBO office, or electronic media to gather the necessary well data. That person will then populate the appropriate data fields in the WellView software. Details Specific to this Job: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must be able to work in a Team environment. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with Office & Field personnel. Must be willing to search out, by phone and email, the information due Devon from OBO partners. Must have a strong background in reviewing and organizing well record files.
