Irving Group of companies and is in the business of building quality ships and repairing vessels. The company’s primary site is Halifax Shipyard, with three other locations in the Maritime Provinces. Irving Shipbuilding is currently working on a number of significant projects for the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Coast Guard. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading our hull design engineering team Overall responsibility for hull design engineering on Naval ship construction programs Weight control and naval architecture Leader/owner of all hull design processes Experience & Education Requirements – Knowledge & Skills: Qualified Naval Architect or equivalent Engineering training with significant Naval marine experience Minimum of 5 years management experience in Naval Construction Proven ability to lead a team to.... |
