| Job Description: Motor Coach Industries (MCI) , an industry leader in Charter and Luxury Touring Coaches, is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Technologist/Engineer to join our team. As the market leader, MCI designs, manufactures and markets coaches for tour, line haul, transit and conversion uses. MCI is committed to providing our customers with high-quality products along with aftermarket services throughout the U.S. and Canada. The SQA Technologist/Engineer/ verifies vendor conformance to specification by performing inspections, works closely with Production and Service departments as required in identifying suspect parts and analyzing parts for deficiencies. This role is responsible for collaborating with vendors, as well as Purchasing and Engineering, to identify and implement solutions related to noted deficiencies. Primary Responsibilities Conduct first article inspections on incoming parts to ensure they conform to specification, in a timely manner. Collaborate with Production and Service on suspect parts and conduct root cause analysis to identify and log deficiencies.
