| Employment Services Officer Reference #: 12-035 Union: Non-Union Supervisor: Director Human Resources Classification: Temporary Full Time until March 2013 Salary: Deadline: 2020-12-31 Description: POSITION SUMMARY This individual is a key member of the Human Resources PSU team. He/she is responsible for providing a range of Human Resources services to CHEO staff and to prospective employees. This includes updating, processing and auditing employment documentation changes on the HR/Payroll systems, providing information on employee benefits, documenting employees, etc. JOB DESCRIPTION: § Inputs and audits data into the payroll information systems and notifies Payroll of relevant changes § Prepares required correspondence and ensure it is sent to employees in a timely fashion § Meets with all new hires to complete necessary documentation, to provide information on employee benefits, etc. § Responds to routine employee and management inquiries regarding Human Resource policies, procedures and services § Meets with employees as required to explain changes in benefits, vacation banks and other accrual banks. § Contacts SSQ, HOOPP, and other business partne.... |
