| Electrician Ottawa-Gatineau Private Sector Industrial Staffing General Assembly ID 24635 Description BACKGROUND Temp Help are required as the section has several vacancies and a multitude of upcoming electrical projects as well as ongoing maintenance work. Downtown, Ottawa, ON ASAP - August 31, 2012 0800 16:00 40/hours per week DUTIES Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and drawings Interpreting electrical code specifications Testing and troubleshooting circuits to ensure that system operate safely WORKING ENVIRONMENT The work is performed in remote areas of buildings with frequent exposure to dust and dirt. There is an occasional requirement to work in adverse weather conditions when making power line hook ups for when servicing outdoor lighting systems. MANDATORY CRITERIA (resource must have the following) Education: Secondary school diploma is required. Certificate of qualification as a journeyperson electrician is required. (Must bring copy to the interview) Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a journeyperson electrician is required. REQUIREMENTS: Must be flexible to work overtime in short not.... |
