DUTIES Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and drawings Interpreting electrical code specifications Testing and troubleshooting circuits to ensure that system operate safely WORKING ENVIRONMENT The work is performed in remote areas of buildings with frequent exposure to dust and dirt. There is an occasional requirement to work in adverse weather conditions when making power line hook ups for when servicing outdoor lighting systems. MANDATORY CRITERIA Education: Secondary school diploma is required. C ertificate of qualification as a journeyperson electrician is required. ( Must bring copy to the interview) Experience : Minimum of one ( 1) year of experience as a journeyperson electrician is required.
