| Position : Electrical Technician/ Wireperson Job Order ID: 2072 Country: CANADA City: MISSISSAUGA Street: N/A Employment Type: Contract Salary: $18/Hr Function Note: Our client, a leader in protection and control and Scada related technologies currently requires Electrical Technicians/Assemblers with utility panel and switchgear wiring experience. Functions Include: -wiring electrical components, panels and switchgear. -applying torque to electrical joint hardware. -assist with disassembly, cleaning and repairs of electrical circuit breakers, switchgear and other electrical apparatus. Requirements include: -extensive wiring experience related to panel assembly. -understand basic electrical theory. -understand electrical clearances and contamination effects on high voltage apparatus. -physical ability to handle heavy bus bar. -able to read electrical schematic and wiring diagrams. -understand conductor sizes and familiar with applications (controls, PT’s, CT’s). -able to use various hand, power, pneumatic and measuring tools. -ability to work under minimal supervision and contribute positively to a quality team environment. -comply with Health and Safety rules, and requi.... |
