| Electrical Designer br /Our client, a highly respected and International EPC firm is currently seeking an Electrical Designer. This person will be able to perform the following functions:br /Creation of lighting, cable sizing/voltage drop, breaker/fuse sizing, cable tray fill, electrical heat trace, and other similar calculations.Design of single line diagrams, layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, cable schedules, and installation details.Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines.Preparation of work packages including drawing lists and material lists.Develop and mentor other team members. br /br /The successful candidate will have the following:A minimum of 4 years past experience in heavy industrial design working with low voltage and medium voltage systems up to 15 kV.Well versed in the Canadian Electrical Code and other regulatory codes.Experience in oil/gas, mining, pulp/paper, and thermal power generation is an asset.A 2 year diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting Technology is required.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.br/br/Category : Engineeringbr/Location/City : AB - Edm.... |
