Please be advised that effective February 23, 2012 to January 2, 2013, there is a temporary, full-time position for an Editor II ? Open Learning. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, subject to change depending upon departmental requirements. JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Curriculum Administrator?Curriculum Services and the supervision and guidance of the Senior Editor, the Editor II works within the Curriculum Services team to provide editing services for designed and written course content. The Editor II prepares the written course materials for production to meet the quality standards of TRU-OL Curriculum Services. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the Senior Editor, the Editor II will: 1. Provide copy, stylistic, and/or substantive editing of course content including checking for correct grammar, syntax, spelling, clarity, and punctuation; rewrite portions if necessary; and use strong judgment and analysis skills to edit te.... |
