| ENFORCEMENT AND PATROL OFFICER I Campus Enforcement and Patrol (Call-in Positions to March 31, 2013; as and when required) Memorial University of Newfoundland provides on-site security services to our students, employees, visitors and facilities. This opportunity is to develop a call-in list, which may result in long term career advancement. DUTIES The successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining security control of all buildings and contents both internally and externally; patrolling campus facilities; directing traffic as required; enforcing traffic laws and regulations on Grenfell Campus property; operating control room and monitoring related security systems; maintaining records and preparing reports of accidents, investigations and other work performed; promoting crime prevention and safety programs; and performing other related duties as required. Night and weekend work is required. QUALIFICATIONS Experience (up to 1 year) in security work; graduation from high school supplemented by completion of a security program and a first aid course; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Possession of a valid driver's license as issued .... |
