| EDPR 3200 - Sessional - Lecturer - Bachelor of Education Sessional DUTIES : The Bachelor of Education Program in the Faculty of Human, Social and Educational Development invites applications for sessional faculty members to supervise teacher candidates in the role of Faculty Mentor in School District #73 Kamloops/Thompson from April 10, 2012 to April 23, 2012. Faculty Mentors work with Teacher Mentors and Teacher Candidates in practica settings to facilitate communication and professional growth. Individuals assist with problem-solving, observe students teaching and provide feedback, support the team-building process and participate in meetings. QUALIFICATIONS : ? Master?s Degree in Education ? Recent experience as an elementary school teacher ? Experience mentoring and/or supervising student teachers (preferred) ? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills TERM OF EMPLOYMENT : April 10, 2012 to April 23, 2012 REVIEW DATE FOR APPLICATIONS : Applications will be reviewed commencing January 30, 2012, and may continue until position is filled.
