| EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION WORKER - Appendix D This is a temporary, full-time support staff position working 35 hours per week from February to June 1, 2012. Your shift will take place between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Position: EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION WORKER - Appendix D Hourly Rate: 26.07 Hours of Work: 35 hrs/wk, 7 hr shift between 7:30 am & 5:30 pm Location: ECE Centre Report to: Manager, Early Childhood Education Centre Duties: Provide a quality program that will promote the acceptance of the whole child and the enhancement of individual and group needs; Monitor and maintain a safe, stimulating environment by daily preparation of playrooms and playgrounds, as well as organizing and cleaning the centre as necessary; Assist the faculty member responsible for student evaluations by modeling appropriate teaching strategies and providing feedback on a daily basis; Plan, record, implement and evaluate children?s daily activities; Monitor and document individual child progress and complete developmental records; Participate in staff, parent and college meetings and relevant professional development activities; Liaise with parents, staff members and community professionals.... |
